Sherri has been teaching dance for over twenty years, with a passion to train amazing technique to the finest detail in each and every one of her students. She is certified with Canadian Dance Teacher's Association , Royal Academy of Dance, and Dance Master's of America. She trained at Ryerson University - Professional Dance Teacher Training Program with world reknowned dancer's and professionals in the dance world. A mother of one , Sherri has worked for many years to establish herself in the community as a genuine, heartfelt leader with the youth she teaches. Many of her students have gone on into professional careers in the dance world as well as many amazing careers in various aspects due to the discipline and ethics that Sherri teaches throughout their time at BAdc. She gives knowledge but also passion and understanding to her dance student's through discipline, proper training, and excellence in acknowledging for all that pass through BASIC ATTITUDE dance company!

Autumn is a dance program graduate of George Brown College, artistic director of One Movement - Professional Performance Company and a Registered Massage Therapist. A proud mother of two she brings forth 120% of amazing energy in all of her dance training philosophy . She has choreographed for the Choreographer's Ball ( Kitchener -Waterloo and her recent project is her anti-bullying professional dance company developed for school systems. Autumn is a very passionate individual with all the amazing projects . Autumn has been training and teaching for BASIC ATTITUDE for 10 years and many of her students have received scholarships and overall awards through her training. She is a Fully Certified Member through the Canadian Dance Teacher's Association, and we are proud to have the loyalty and passion that she brings to all the students she teaches...she is an incredible asset to BASIC ATTITUDE and wishes all of her students welcome back to sweat.
Jake Simons Professional Actor/Dancer ACTRA
George Randolph Musical Theatre Program Graduate
Jake has been working in the professional actor in his field for 20 years... A true triple theat, Jake has appeared in over 40 films and tv shows, 25 theatre productions ahas shot 20 tv commercials. Most recently he played The Fonz in the Canadian premiere of Happy Days the Musical and also played Johnny Castle in the Mirvish production of Dirty Dancing at The Royal Alexander Theatre in Toronto. Jake has worked with 7 different casting directors in Toronto helping cast such productions as Degrassi, Hairspray, Mama Mia, And Instant Star. We are honoured to have such a talent join our amazing staff this BAdc season and Jake is excited to develop his program for dancer's to help develop his students to advance their opportunities in the musical theatre/acting field.
Nivala Persad-Maharaj JR CDTA,IRAD
Dance Teacher/ Choreographer/ Certified Zumba Fitness Instructor
Nivala has taught with the City of Cambridge as a dance teacher and now a dance program director for dance programs held at various centres. She holds her Intermediate Executant Examination with the Royal Academy of Dancing. She is a beginner/novice dance teacher and choreographer with BASIC ATTITUDE and is loved by all of her dance students due to her wonderful energy she exudes in all of her dance classes. She is also licensed certified teacher with the amazing Zumba Fitness Program and is ready to get you in shape with a fun and friendly, high energy class.

Crystal Finn-Dunn JR CDTA, IRAD
Dance Teacher/Choreographer
Crystal has taught with BAdc as an assistant teacher and substitute for the last two years . She will be training our beginner/novice dancers Teacher. Crystal holds her Intermediate Executant Ballet Examination with the Royal Academy of Dancing. She is training towards her Associate Canadian Dance Teacher's Association Membership Tap, Jazz, Acrobaatics and Dance Master's of America She continues her education with Ryerson University - Professional Dance Teaching Degree and would like to continue to teacher's college to educate in the arts at the high school level.

Rishala is a very focused and task oriented teacher...with high expectations of all the dance students she has taught , she brings discipline and strong technique in the dancer's she trains... Vanessa has received numerous scholarships and overall awards in the competitive venue...she has also been recognized through scholarship as a choreographer at the competitive level. She holds her Intermediate Executant Examination and pursues dance with a passion that she delvelops in herself to translate to the dancer's she teachers. She is excited to welcome her students this year at BASIC ATTITUDE dance company... get ready to work!
Amanda Barry Level II Gymnastics, ECE Diploma
Acrobatics/Gymnastics Coach
Amanda Barry is a proud mother of two with an post-secondary education education with an ECE DIPLOMA. She has over 10 years experience in coaching gymnastics and holds her Level II Gymnastics with accreditation from tots to regional competitive level. She has spent twenty years involved in gymnastics, first training then competing, and finally coaching and supervising in Kitchener-Waterloo. She is excited to bring something that she has always loved into a new environment and is really looking forward to teaching our acrobatics program at BASIC ATTITUDE !

Assistant's work towards Associate Memberships with Certified Educational Institutes and receive volunteer hours for high school accreditation.
