TUITION FEES
The studio runs for 10 months from September to June. Tuition fees should be paid in ten post-dated cheques post marked to the first of each month. Full year payments are also accepted. Those who do not wish to give ten post-dated cheques will be charged automatically $5.00 per month processing fee. All NSF cheques will be charged a $35.00.
All parent's must sign a contract to their understanding of BAdc policies.

COSTUME DOWN PAYMENT
$ 50.00 per dance form are due with SEPTEMBER 1st PAYMENT (NON- REFUNDABLE). The balance ( NOT EXCEEDING $50.00 EXCLUDING TAX) will be paid before receiving costumes in MARCH or APRIL when the costumes are ready. All costume balances owing after JANUARY 1st of the new year are the responsiblity of the client as recital numbers are in place and customers costumes have been ordered. These balances outstanding are put on the dance studio when unpaid by the client as the item has been ordered for you the client specifically, therefore this policy must be in place ...The costume balance will not exceed $50.00 less taxes.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY
Office must be notified 5 business days prior to the first of the month of withdrawal from class either by phone call or letter, in order to receive refund of upcoming month and remainder of cheques. If withdrawal after payment of due date, loss of that months fees will occur. Balance of cheques will be returned.
STUDIO HOLIDAYS
Thanksgiving Monday, Halloween (make-up class), Christmas Vacation (2 weeks), March Break (2nd or 3rd week of March), Easter Monday, Victoria Day Monday -DATES TO FOLLOW IN FIRST NEWSLETTER.
PICTURE DAY
BASIC ATTITUDE dance company offers a picture day for all students in late April once all the costumes have been received. All students will hava a solo & group shot taken on picture day by our professional photographer from Fred's Photography www.fredsphoto.on.ca . Pictures may be purchased and picked up at the year end show. There is no obligaton to purchase your child's photo. Basic Attitude offers picture day as an extra bonus option to our clients with a reasonable price & photo package.
SHOW DVD'S
BASIC ATTITUDE dance company offers professional DVD'S of our annual year end show for sale at a cost of $48.00 (tax included) per DVD. All payments are made payable to DRC VIDEO www.drcvideo.com which you may purchase on line or at the studio. DVD'S pick up will be announced at the year end show and is usually scheduled early July.
PROFESSIONALYEAR END SHOW
BASIC ATTITUDE annually holds a year end show performance on a Sunday evening either the 2nd or 3rd week in June. The show is held at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts www.sandersoncentre.ca, a 15 hundred seat historical theatre in Brantford. All student from beginner to advanced levels will perform in the show... tickets are sold through the Sanderson Centre in Brantford and go on sale early May. Theatre policy is that all audience members must purchase a ticket to watch the show this includes babes in arms and students performing in the show if they chose to watch. Tickets are $20.00 per person.
NEWSLETTERS & INFORMATION
Newsletters will be sent home periodically with your child or through e-mail regarding studio holidays, costumes, pictures, upcoming events, year end show, etc. Newsletters will be placed up in the studio with the date children received them an the date they were e-mailed out. Check the studio white board for any updated information or our website under newsletters. Please check your child's bag for newsletters and your e-mail so that you are aware of any of these studio concerns. Above all, any questions may be answered by asking your teacher,our studio secretary, or by a quick call to the studio or e-mail. BASIC ATTITUDE wants to make your stay with us an enjoyable one as well as an informed one!

STUDIO & DANCE ATTIRE RULES
Hair must be tied up neatly for all dance classes. A ballet bun must be worn in all ballet classes. Absolutely no gum is allowed in the dance studio (choking hazard). Attendance will be taken weekly so please ensure your child is in attendance to ensure the proper development of your child and to continue class progress. Please remove all outdoor footwear before entering the main lobby. Help keep our studio clean!
